How it works
The box pretends to be a phone to your earbuds.
The box pretends to be earbuds to your phone.
All commands (play/pause/forward backward) are forwarded from your earbuds to the phone. All media audio (music, video, etc) is forwarded from your phone to your earbuds.
This allows you to operate the box whilst using your phone.
Bonding your phone to the box is as simple as using a pair of earbuds. No apps or installation. Once the phone is fully bonded, you can operate another lock inside the box to hold the phone firmly in the box. Simply by connecting and disconnecting the Bluetooth link.
When have your seen a thief snatching the earbuds out of the ears of hapless victim?
If the box looses the connection with the earbuds but not the phone, it activates an alarm and closes the box.
Thanks to standard Bluetooth Bonding/pairing, only the original earbuds can deactivate the "lockdown".
